Well my Canadian clinic finally got the results today, a whole day after I took the test, and it only came back at 381 so that's only 36% more then my first beta of 278, no doubling here. I'm really sad, I just pray that it goes up a lot next Monday when they want me to test again. I'll keep you posted.
Has something similar happened to anyone here and has it resulted in a pregnancy? I need all the help I can get right now.
I have heard of a lot of girls that have had a low 2nd beta and gone on to have a happy healthy pregnancy. Do not give up yet and do not let them give up either.

Try not to get too down. I've heard of a lot of people who've had slow rising betas as a result of one twin trying to implant but not quite making it. Try to keep your hopes up until beta #3!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the other girls. My first thought was it was twins at first and now a singleton. That was a VERY high first beta. What you need to considers is that your second beta went up and is HIGH. I had a second beta of 158. So hang in there! I know the wait is hard but you have reason to hope.
