DE FET #3 - 4dp5dt

Well I thought I could wait to POAS until Thursday, which would be 6dp5dt but I couldn't, I caved.  Today at 2:30pm I POAS'd and I got a very light positive within the 3 minutes on FRER (not sure if you can really see it in the pic but I assure you, it's really there).

Yayy! I'm so excited!! It was probably very stupid of me to do it so early but at least now I have a base line as to whether or not it's getting darker. The POAS craziness has already begun. 😜

Update:
I'm not sure if this is just in my head now that I know that I got a positive but since I tested my feeling of nausea and thirst has increased significantly and now - 10:00pm -  I've got a splitting headache. Maybe I just need to drink more water, who knows. G'nite!

DE FET #3 - 2dp5dt

It's 7:00pm and G and I are sitting in the local Portland Starbucks people watching, as usual.

We didn't do too much today. We were going to go shopping but with our dollar being the way it is it really doesn't make much sense, even with some of the Columbus Day sales. So we walked around the Pearl District and went to yet another Starbucks, apparently our fav place to hang out to pass the time. :)

This 2ww is KILLING me and I'm only two days in. Symptoms so far are just continuous low grade pain in, I'm assuming, my uterus. I've had a few light nauseous bouts when I'm moving around a lot and getting a little hot. I also seem to be quite hungry a good portion of the day and crazy thirsty. These all could be from the progesterone or legit symptoms. I guess we'll have to wait and see. Iike I said before I'm totally going to POAS at 6dp5dt.

Heading home tomorrow, can't wait to see our little man, I miss him so much!

DE FET #3 - Transfer Day

Today was transfer day!!

Woke up early today, got ready, then went for a walk to get myself a decaf pumpkin spice latte. That's one beverage   I just have to have come this time of year. 😊
All morning I was waiting for the call as to how my embryos had thawed. 9:00 rolled my 10:00 rolled by, even 11:00. I thought to myself that's either a bad sign or a good sign. When we got to the clinic at 12:30 I met my acupuncturist and we went in to get started on a relaxing session.

Later in the session the embryologist came in to tell me that they had to thaw 5  embryos but they were able to get 2 really good ones, thank goodness for that!  I now have only 4 left, crossing my fingers that it works. They seem to look good to me but I'm no expert that's for sure and they wouldn't give me the cell survival percent either other then they look great.

Now I have wait nine days before the beta, but I'm more then likely going to POS before that. I'll keep ya'lll post

DE FET #3 - Trying to get little H a sibling

Its been over a year since my last post. Things have been so busy with little H, no one ever tells you how much work it is to raise a little baby but I wouldn't change it for the world. He is the most kindest, sweetest, gentlest little boy I have ever seen. I enjoy every single day with him and love him to the fullest.

On another note, we have decided to try for baby #2!! Yay! I'm so excited.  The medications have already started for our FET #3 in Portland with a transfer date - if all works out -  for October 9, 2015. Stay tuned.

Hope everyone is doing well out there!

DE FET #2 May 15, 2014 - The arrival of our baby boy

It all started May 8th when I had my OB appt. At this point my swelling was crazy bad and when I was looking at my computer at work I kind of noticed that things were a little blurry and I had a slight headache. I got to my OB's office and they took my blood pressure which was 158/93. At this point I said to my husband that I think that they will send me to the hospital because deep down inside I figured that I could have preeclampsia. Sure enough when we saw the Doc she said that she wanted me to go to the hospital.

They did a bunch of tests and was later admitted to the hospital that evening but they couldn't confirm wither it was preeclampsia or HELLP syndrome because they didn't find any protein in my urine but I pretty much had everything else from the severe swelling, the headache, the blurred vision, low platelets and high blood pressure. Because there could have been a risk that something could happen to me like have a seizure and/or die they wanted me to stay in there until I gave birth.

So I was in there from the 8th to the 18th, 10 days. Man those felt like the worst days of my life!! I had so much that I wanted to do before I gave birth like have my hair highlighted, my nails done and to just spend some alone time with the hubby but thats ok now because I'm super excited to introduce to you my little miracle that we've worked so hard for, for the last 4 years, little H. He arrived a little early at 36 weeks on Thursday May 15, 2014, 6lbs 8oz. Considering he was pre term he did remarkably well by not needing to go into the NICU and we were able to take him home on the 18th.
